Cameras by IDS Imaging are built with the highest quality sensors (CMOSIS, e2v, Aptina). These cameras have outstanding image quality and unique software support. There is no firmware on the devices, so that the new drivers are backward compatible with old models, even in the case of a changed operation system.

Their lightweight, coated plastic housing is robust enough to withstand industrial environments.

USB 3 uEye SE
Compact and robust: The uEye SE (“Standard Edition”) is the all-round industrial camera with a broad sensor portfolio and countless variants. It has proven itself in industrial use for over a decade. It is consistently designed to support even large-format and fast CMOS sensors and to make best use of the bandwidth of the USB 3 (5 Gbps) interface. In addition to a screwable USB Type-C connector, the uEye SE with USB 3 (5 Gbps) interface has a screwable 8-pin Hirose connector for trigger and flash (optically decoupled) as well as two GPIOs (each with 3.3 V).

USB 3 uEye XS
Tiny body, immense potential: with a weight of only 12 grams and extremely compact dimensions of 26.5 x 23 x 21.5 millimetres, the uEye XS camera is one of the smallest in the Vision market. Its fast autofocus is a special highlight among the numerous auto functions. It delivers consistently sharp images starting from distances of only 10 centimetres.

USB 2 uEye LE
The compact USB camera is available either with a plastic compound housing with a C/CS-mount lens adapter, or as a board-level version with S-Mount lens holder or without a lens holder. Thanks to the adjustable flange back distance, fluctuations of standard lenses can be prevented, which means that zoom lenses can also be used.

USB 2 uEye ML
The USB 2 uEye ML camera series is a reasonably-priced and compact industrial camera with USB 2.0 interface and next generation CMOS sensor technology. Its small dimensions make the camera ideal for applications with space restrictions. Thanks to its robust metal housing and lockable connectors, the USB uEye ML can also be used in harsh industrial environments. The 8-pin Hirose connector highlights the versatility of the camera by providing two general purpose I/Os as well as optically decoupled trigger inputs and flash outputs.

USB 3 uEye XC
The XC autofocus camera ensures perfectly sharp images and videos, even when the distance between the camera and the object is constantly changing. It was specifically designed to fill the gap between industrial cameras and webcams. Unlike consumer webcams, its components – such as the high-resolution 13 MP onsemi sensor and the integrated ISP chip – are available for a long time and fully suitable for industrial use. The sensor delivers 20 fps at full resolution and, thanks to BSI technology (“Back Side Illumination”), can easily cope with changing light conditions. Useful features such as 24x digital zoom, auto white balance and colour correction ensure that every detail is perfectly captured.

The XLS family fits seamlessly into the price-optimised basic camera portfolio from IDS. The name indicates that it is a sub-size variant (“small”) of the popular uEye XLE family. The software features of both series are the same.
